What it is

The portfolio OS control panel: switch the site theme, turn decorative effects off on slower machines, skip the boot splash, and clear the data stored on this device.

• Flutter
• ValueNotifier
• shared_preferences

Under the hood

• Every switch is a ValueNotifier — effects, boot and theme react immediately without a reload.
• Preferences persist through shared_preferences (localStorage on web), and are read before the first frame so the boot choice is honoured.
• The "reduce effects" switch is the manual escape hatch for low-end devices: aurora, grain and cursor glow all unplug.
