Field Notes
Writing, served from the repos
What it is
A small reading app for the write-ups behind the engines: procedural meshes, rigid-body physics and the virtual filesystem. Each note is fetched from its repository's README at the moment you open it, so the writing can never drift from the code it describes.
- flutter_markdown_plus
- raw.githubusercontent

- Deep links
Under the hood
- Notes are not bundled: each README is fetched from GitHub raw at read time and cached in memory for the session.
- Because the text lives in the repos, a README edit ships here without a portfolio deploy — the writing cannot drift from the code.
- The reader handles loading, empty and rate-limit paths explicitly, and every note links back to its repo.
Honest notes
- Reading a note needs network access to raw.githubusercontent.com; the app says so instead of showing a blank page.
- The notes are the repositories' own READMEs, so their voice and formatting are whatever the repos ship.
